Summer@Clark

7 Weeks of Fun in the Sun!

We are excited to announce our Summer@Clark 2022 schedule of exciting programs! Children who will be entering grades K-8 in Fall 2022 can choose from a variety of activities that range from arts and crafts to outdoor games, hiking and computer coding! Each week, children will also participate in a special themed adventure -- like Laser Tag or Paddle Boarding!!

Again this summer, students will have the option of choosing one of two tracks for each week they sign up during Weeks 1-6. Once signed up, students will be registered for just one track for all five days of S@C that week. See descriptions below.

Option #1: Our traditional S@C program runs daily from 9AM-3PM. Students self-select their activities each day and enjoy a special activity or field trip (when permitted) on one of the days!

Option #2: Our Specials program runs daily from 9AM-12PM, after which students will participate in regularly scheduled afternoon programs until 3pm. Students who choose to participate in the Specials program in the mornings instead of traditional S@C will not also participate in that week's S@C program activity.

Part of each day at S@C will be focused on that week’s theme but, for the rest of the day, campers are given choice activities and even some free time to ride bikes and to engage in another choice activity.  All activities are optional, and there is more than one choice for each block of the day. We have something for everyone!

Location: Clark School at14 Forest Ridge Dr, Rowley, MA 01969

Ages: Grades K-8

Sessions and Dates:

Half Sleepover: June 21-24
Join us for a fun first week of summer camp that will end with a half sleepover on Friday. Campers will stay for a cookout and s’mores. We will play camping and sleepover games and activities and end the evening by changing into our PJ’s, popping some popcorn and watching a movie.

Animal Antics: June 27 – July 1
This is the camp for the animal lover. Animals will be the theme for our activities and games. We may visit a zoo or local farm and learn about some exotic animals as well.

Explorers and Treasure Hunters: July 11-15
Calling all explorers and treasure hunters!! We will explore forests and trails around the area to see what interesting things we can find. We will work together to escape traps, complete puzzles and find the hidden treasure at the end of a scavenger hunt.

Mad Scientist Week: July 18-22
Our very own mad scientist will help the campers conduct experiments, construct simple machines and make messy concoctions. Be prepared to invent, experiment and have some fun!

Splish Splash Wacky Water Week: July 25-29
Water is the theme of this week and – although we will not be traveling to a water park – we will create our own water fun here on campus. There are water games, water balloons and we even create our own slip-n-slide on the back hill. If field trips are allowed, we may have the option of traveling to the beach or Hood’s Pond.

Spirit Week: August 1-5
Let’s celebrate Summer@Clark and get in the spirit of summer. Each day will have a different theme. Campers will dress according to that theme and that theme will guide our daily activities.

Clark’s Got Talent: August 8-12
Each year we meet a variety of campers who have so many talents. In addition to all of our regular camp activities we will be preparing for S@C’s Got Talent Show on Friday of this week. Students will sign up to participate and will be given time each day to practice their talent.  We will end the week with a Talent Show where each camper can show us their special talent!

In addition to the "regular day", children have the option for extended care, tutoring, and C.I.T. program for additional fees.

Covid Protocols: Please note: Actual activities will be determined with Covid guidelines in mind. It is still unclear if field trips will be allowed, so that may impact some of the activities that will take place.
