Camp Kent Nature Center

Camp Description: 

 

Camp Kent Nature Center (CKNC) is a nature center and 17-acre parcel of conservation land established by the Town of Amesbury in 1997.  CKEC is connected to the 167-acre Powow River Conservation Area.  The area includes a variety of habitats including vernal wetlands, marsh, meadow, coniferous and deciduous forests, wooded uplands, and scrub along the Powow River and Lake Gardener.   Campers will develop growing awareness of their environment through observation, exploration, and games and crafts.. The program offers kayaking, archery, small elements challenge course, and a climbing wall.
