Gloucester Museum School Adventure Camp
Camp Description:
Founded in 1978 by the Gloucester Youth Commission, the camp offers an array of programs for all ages.
All programs are age appropriate and seek to develop character and community bonds through authentic experiential learning. All GMS campers experience the adventures and challenges of outdoor exploration, dory rowing on the Annisquam River, rock climbing, quarry and beach swimming, and the development of activity-based group interaction skills. All done in a setting of teaching appreciation for Cape Ann’s unique natural environment.
We are committed to fostering a sense of social and environmental responsibility in a manner that engages and excites a child’s imagination, natural curiosity, and a sense of adventure.

Covid Protocols:
On the first day of each camp session, we will review our COVID protocols with campers and counselors. We will educate campers about COVID symptoms, encourage them to report any symptoms, and require that they stay home if they are sick. We will also ensure that each camper knows how to obtain a replacement mask if needed.
Visitors and parents will not be allowed to accompany campers during the day.
